8 Stage Support Group for Family and Friends of Loved Ones with Mental Illness- Mondays 7-8:30pm

Bedford is fortunate to have the opportunity to host this innovative and effective group in its community. Based on evidence based practices, it is a support group for families and friends with loved ones with mental illnesses. It offers them a place to go where they can network with one another, acquire coping skills, and develop strategies that improve their overall quality of life and improved relationships with their loved ones. Facilitated by a Certified Family Life Educator and a Mental Health Professional with a combined 45 years of experience, the group operates in an environment which encourages growth through sharing, caring, and understanding. The group meets every week for ninety minutes. Participants come as they choose ie every week, or as needed. The only requirement for membership is that you have a loved one or a friend with a mental illness that affects you. While the group is free, donations are accepted. Registration is required.

Family Coaching

Family Coach Program offers families the opportunity to identify and strengthen specific skills with support. This may include: improving parenting practices, communication skills within the family, and psycho-education around behavioral and/or medical issues. The fee for each service is dependent upon the nature of the service chosen by the client. Surround services are offered as part of the fee for service. For example, face-to-face meetings include phone and email support. Phone coach sessions include email support.

PRICE: $68 per hour (broken down in fifteen minute increments per conversation)

PRICE: Packages may be purchased for a reduced rate of $240.

PRICE: Face to face meetings, including Skype and computer sessions, are $78/hour with a minimum of a one hour session.

PRICE: Packages of 4 sessions may be purchased for a reduced rate of $280.
